Pulled my shoulder muscle

So this morning I woke up and was fine, I went downstairs, made my morning coffee and proceeded to pick all the raisins out of my Alpen (love Alpen but not the raisins - yuk) after finishing my breakfast it was time to get ready for work. So I put on my hair band thingy that keeps it from getting wet whilst washing my face and OOOUUCCHHH somehow I managed to pull a muscle in my shoulder!
I took some ibuprofen and Ralgex and it took some time but it eased off a little by the afternoon, it really hurt though, next time I must remember to be more careful, maybe its because its turned cold that it happened?

I am totally in love with this hot Italian designers style its so fabulously romantic and feminine. The colllection looked fabulous down the catwalk - I didnt make it to Milan but decided to watch it on sky fashion tv instead lol. I loved the layers, the transparency the vintage feel and the shoes were out of this world!

Patchwork Crazy

So I have been bitten by the patchwork bug big time, I have completed a double quilt top, but no photos until its finished. I have also been making some patchwork bunting. I really like this as a decorative idea and adding the patchwork angle works well for my love of all things shabby chic ♥



I cant wait to start my next project i have so many ideas in mind! and also cant wait for my books and quilting foot for my machine to arrive now ♥

I finally got my own sewing machine and its a beauty, its a model 201k vintage singer machine and it purrs like a kitten. This machine does forward and backward stitches, has many feet available for other stitches and other work and can sew through denim and leather with ease due to its heavy duty robustness. Im in love....

New Work - Feepo

So I have dilly dallied and fanally got round to doing some real art work, I have been neglecting my creative work for a while, I think the purchase of a nintendo DSI didnt help matters one jot. The first arrivals are my tiny little feepo figures. I take influence from Japanese pop art and the whole kawaii scene. Hopefully I will aford to visit Japan one day ...




I am currently working on some acrylic painting too - watch this space ....

Its that time of year ...

Hurrah the clocks have gone forwards an hour and apart from the catching up on sleep I have been busy planting seeds. I have planted some spring onion and carrot seeds on sunday and already there are 2 tiny sprouts appearing - so exciting. I must take some photos when I get the chance. I have just purchased a small cold frame greenhouse (tent type not glass).
I did give it a try last year but all but the tomatos failed - I left it too late, not to mention the walk in tent style green house got blown away in june when it got windy - good job my neighbours are understanding as it ended up in their garden!
So I have still got lettuce, tomatos, radishes, corgettes, potatoes and 2 types of onions to plant, must get to it this weekend and take some photos!
